Not long after I posted my lovely blog of convention worries I checked my email...and BAM! Read this lovely sentence from Greg Wicker, who I found out is the new head of programming:

Congratulations! We have acknowledged your greatness and are honored to host your panels at Colossalcon.

That's seriously one of the best sentences I've read in a long time.

And now, for even better news:

BOTH OF MY PANELS WILL BE A PART OF COLOSSALCON 2013!!!

That is a world-record response time, ladies and gentlemen. I am so lucky to know this info now, and well in advance. I love that I don't have to bite off my fingernails with anticipation and I can devote my nervous energy to my thesis again. I'm all set and good to go. Huzzah!
