This post's tag comes courtesy of We Write At Dawn, a fun blog filled with book reviews, tags, and more! This post's holiday theme is the classic beverages you drink during the winter holidays. I'm not much of a holiday drinker myself, but I'll always find room for a good mug of hot chocolate. Pull up a seat under a comfy blanket with your favorite cup of whatnot and read on for frothy bookish goodness!

HOT CHOCOLATE: MARSHMALLOWS AND CHOCOLATE AND WHIPPED CREAM, OH MY! RECOMMEND A BOOK THAT’S SWEET THROUGH AND THROUGH.
Hmm...I don't really read books that I would call "sweet" unless it was like a romance or something else. I like books that have dark aspects to them, too, in additional to fantastical elements, so it's hard for me to pick out something sweet.
I'm going to go with Cemetery Boys by Aiden Thomas because I think the romance between Yadriel and Julian is so freaking sweet.
PEPPERMINT MOCHA: THE FLAVOR OF PEPPERMINT IS STRONG AND DISTINCT. RECOMMEND A BOOK WITH A LOT OF STRONG EMOTIONS.
The Cruel Prince by Holly Black. I definitely felt the gamut of emotions, going from happy to angry to confused to enthralled. I overall love the book (and the series).
APPLE CIDER: IT’S SO GOOD IT CAN’T BE GOOD FOR YOU, BUT IT’S FROM APPLES—THAT MEANS IT’S HEALTHY, RIGHT? RECOMMEND A BOOK FULL OF CHARACTERS WITH QUESTIONABLE MORALS.
What Big Teeth by Rose Szabo is a book where you just can't tell what everyone's angle is...everyone has a mystery to them.
EGGNOG: IT’S CREAMY AND SMOOTH, WITH A LITTLE SPICE, AND SOME PEOPLE EVEN ADD ALCOHOL TO IT. RECOMMEND A BOOK THAT’S MOSTLY FUN, WITH JUST A HINT OF DANGER.
I recommend Among the Beasts and Briars by Ashley Poston. There's more than just a hint of danger--there's a lot, actually--but I enjoyed this book so much I had a lot of fun reading it.
GINGERBREAD LATTE: A DRINK WITH A VERITABLE EXPLOSION OF SPICES. RECOMMEND A BOOK WITH A LOT OF ACTION.
In Deeper Waters by F.T. Lukens is more like an adventure novel and I love a good swashbuckler. The romance is also pretty sweet in this, too. And great if you like mermaids and mermen!

It's Christmas Eve where I am, so this probably doesn't give you all a lot of time to post this on your own blog before the holiday, but just in case you want to participate, feel free to add it to your blog and let me know in the comments! Happy holidays!
